Temple Saxton, formerly of Amityville

Former Amityville resident and loving mother, Temple Ronaele Saxton died April 24, 2008 in Bella Vista, Arkansas. She was 61.

She was born December 31, 1946 in Glendale, California to Temple S. and Eleanor Allen Robinson and was raised in Amityville. After marrying Stuart Saxton in May 25, 1968, the couple moved to New Jersey where she worked for Wills Trucking. After relocating to Tucson, Arizona, she worked for the trucking companies Digby Southwest and Warner Enterprises. They settled in Arkansas, and she worked as a fleet manager for J.B. Hunt.

According to her family, she was a devoted parishioner of the Village Bible Evangelical Free Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Mrs. Saxton leaves behind her husband, Stuart; her children: Kevin Michael and his wife Tracy Goodman of Missouri; Adam Wesley and his wife Crystal of Fort Worth, Texas; Kimberly Catharine of Scranton, Pennsylvania and Melonie Robins Shaw and her husband Steven of Factoryville, Pennsylvania. Seven grandchildren also survive her.

A Funeral Mass was said on April 28, 2008 at the Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, Arkansas with Pastor David Meinke, officiating. Arrangements were handled by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
