Louise Tagg, former ASD Secretary, 86

Longtime Amityville resident Louise M. Tagg died Feb. 2, 2008 in Loma Linda, California where she moved in 1983. She was 86 years old.

For more than 20 years she was secretary for the Amityville Public School District in the North East building, and was a longtime parishioner at the Simpson United Methodist Church in Amityville.

According to her daughter, Linda Heney, she was an avid reader who loved to spend time with her family and loved ones.

Mrs. Tagg leaves behind her children: Linda Heney of Grand Terrace, California, and Steven and his wife Brenda of Great Neck. Her grandchildren, Alison Heney of Binghamton, Meredith Heney of Yucaipa, California, Billy and David of Great Neck also survive her as does her great granddaughter, Millie of Yucaipa, California. She was predeceased by her husband, John.

A Funeral Service was held on Feb. 12, 2008 at Cortner Chapel in Redlands, California followed by interment in Riverside National Cemetery in California.
