St. Martin's school in Amityville celebrates Catholic School Week
Throughout the week, the students and teachers were celebrating what it means to be involved in Catholic education for their school, their church and their community. Different activities were planned for the week. Monday, a math bee was held in the church for the fifth and sixth grade. Matt Burnett, who is in the sixth grade, won. He is shown with the first runner up, sixth grader Eduardo Ramirez and school principal, Kathleen Razzetti. Wednesday there was a spelling bee for the seventh and eighth grade; Melanie Bellevue, a seventh grader won. She is shown accepting her trophy from Principal Razzetti.
