Fall Social at Edmund W. Miles Middle School

Amityville's Edmund W. Miles Middle School hosted its first fall social to provide a safe outlet for students to celebrate Halloween, and to mix and mingle with their peers in a positive environment. In addition to a DJ and snacks, an area was set up where students could play board games, including checkers or chess. "This is a great opportunity for our students to experience recreation and socialization in a safe and controlled environment," stated middle school Principal Nicole Theo. Shown in the photo below, right, students had the opportunity to relax and enjoy at the school's first Fall Social. Above, chess was the game of choice at the fall social.

Shown right, above, ghosts and ghouls were on hand at fall Social. Students enjoyed some Halloween fun, along with dancing, snacking, and playing board games.
