Daleview Care Center, of Farmingdale, has hired Dawn M. Brown, LPN, of Amityville, to serve as a nurse assessor in Nassau County. Brown will be responsible for coordinating assessments of patients with hospital case managers and discharge planners regarding Daleview services. She will evaluate soon-to-be-discharged hospital patients who require further care prior to returning home, evaluating whether or not Daleview can best meet the specific medical, nursing and rehabilitative needs of the patient.
Brown comes to Daleview Care Center following positions in several other nursing facilities including unit supervisor/ charge nurse, staff development/ quality assurance coordinator/ employee health nurse and discharge planner.
