•Scott Gavey, of Copiague, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.

•Caitlyn Elizabeth Horton, of Amityville, was named to the dean's list at Wofford College, Spartanburg, South Carolina for the fall 2007 semester.

•The following local residents graduated from Nassau Community College, Garden City, after the fall 2007 semester: From Amityville are Dartanion W. Lanham and Michael J. Staffieri; from North Amityville is Ross P. Iregbulem and from Copiague are Carissa Bulone, Joanna M. Ciesla, Kevin C. Natoli,, Natalia A. Szewczyk and Agnieszka Zdunczyk.

•Named to the dean's list at Nassau Community College for the fall 2007 semester are the following local residents: From Amityvville are Latwoia B. Abbott, Michael J. Cecere, Edwin Fernandez, Peter Kovacs ande Michael J. Staffieri and from Copiague are Nick J. Imperial, Danielle M. Singer and Natalia A. Szewczyk.
