Student expressions exhibit
Shown in the photo, Chanyia Welch , left, and her family attended a recent artists' reception at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook. Chanyia is a third grader at Great Neck Road School in Copiague, and her watercolor collage, Fall Projects, is one of more than 300 pieces on display in the museum's Colors of Long Island: Student Expressions exhibition, sponsored by Bank of America, through January.
