Copiague student named outstanding participant in the 2008 National Achievement Scholarship Program

Benjamin O. Webb, a senior at Walter G. O'Connell Copiague High School, has been named as an Outstanding Participant in the 2008 National Achievement Scholarship Program.

Webb is one of 4,600 high school seniors who scored in the top five percent of more than 140,000 Black Americans who requested consideration in the 2008 National Achievement Program when he took the 2006 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
