Beloved homemaker Elizabeth Baldwin, at 80

Longtime Copiague resident and wife and mother, Elizabeth Baldwin died December 31, 2007. She was 80 years old.

Born in Germany, she met and married a United States soldier during World War II, John F. Baldwin, and emigrated to Copiague in 1947. She lived on Kensington Court for 60 years.

For many years she worked with her husband, at the Liberty Products Aircraft Corp. in Farmingdale, and later as a seamstress. Most of her life, however, was dedicated to caring for her family and home, said her family.

in addition to her husband, Mrs. Baldwin is surrvived by her children: Christie and Blake Rogers and Edward J.; her five grandchildren; her seven great grandchildren; and her four siblings.

She reposed at the D'Andrea Brothers Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street, Copiague on January 3, 2008, A Funeral Service was held on January 4, 2008 at the funeral home followed by interment in Long Island National Cemetery in Pinelawn.
