DAR meets at home of Peg Crichton

Col. Gilbert Potter Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, attended their annual Christmas meeting at the home of Peg Crichton of Amityville. The guest speaker, Vice Regent Elizabeth Marshall of Port Jefferson, related the life history of the wife of President Teddy Roosevelt. Refreshments were supplied by Mary Menkes of Massapequa, Karen Mormando of North Massapequa and Elizabeth Marshall. Following the luncheon and meeting, an auction took place of new and slightly used items.
