Long Islanders remember Pearl Harbor

The L.I. Chapter of the AFA Air Force Association held a commemorative ceremony on the 66th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The event was held at the American Airpower Museum, Republic Airport in Farmingdale Dec. 7. In photo above, a member of the U.S. Navy hands the just blessed bouquet of roses to JoeDaly seated in Skytyper 1, who dropped the roses over the Statue of Liberty at noon, the time that Pearl Harobr was attacked in 1941.
