Wanted: Your Christmas tree

The Town of Babylon, 9/11 Hometown Memorial

Christmas Tree" Dune Preservation Program wants you to bring your Christmas tree to the Overlook (not Cedar) Beach parking lot, Sat., Jan. 12, 2008, 9 a.m. to noon, sharp. Please removed all ornaments and there should be no wreaths, roping or loose branches.. Volunteers will place the trees around the 9/11 Hometown Memorial to create a protective dune to preserve the site naturally.
