CMSAA was created to offer a competitive after-school sports program to Catholic school students in grades six, seven and eight. There are currently 17 Catholic schools and over 1,000 students across Suffolk County that participates.

There are several sports being played at St. Martins' this fall. There is a boy's soccer team, a girl's soccer team, a junior varsity volleyball team, a varsity volleyball team and a crosscountry team. The cross-country team is a small but strong team with kids from sixth to eighth grade participating. Eighth grader, Mitchell Dull, has placed first in every race that he participated. Each race is about one mile and there are approximately seventy-five to one hundred twenty-five runners per race. Each of the runners is improving their individual times with every race.
