Amityville Kiwanis Celebrates Charles Woodman's 50th Anniversary as a member
The Kiwanis Club of Amityville honored Charlie Woodman at its meeting at the Bull Dog Grille in October for achieving his 50th year as a member.
Charlie was born in Brooklyn and moved to Amityville in 1956 to run a business and to raise his family. As a World War II Veteran, Woodman has always
given back to his community. Through out the years, Woodman has held many official positions and chaired many committees. He was past president of the club for the 1969-70 year. For the past few years Woodman has been the Historian for the Club.
