St. Martin of Tours School in Amityville inducted its student government for the 2008/2009 school year. The new president is eightth grader Erin Moore, vice president is seventh grader Madison Fulford, secretary is seventh grader Annie Gilligan, treasurer is seventh grader Chris Camperlengo, school spirit is fifth grader Nora Burnett, religious affairs is sixth grader Jarred Dull and public relations is fifth grader Myaysa Evans.

Each class in grades four through eight is represented by a class representative. Class representatives for the fth grade are Halle Norris and Emma Henzy, fifth grade are Austin Quinn and Meagham Graham, sixth grade are Jack Bilello and Kerry Moore, seventh grade are Kate Schmitt and Sofie Duarte and the eighth grade are Connor Quinn and Mitchell Dull.
