Paintings by the late Amityville resident and artist, Ethel Fowler, will be offered for sale at the Sixth Annual Fine Arts Exhibit and Sale on Fri., Nov. 7, 7 to 9 p.m. and Sat., Nov. 8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 25 Broadway, Amityville. "Ethel has been a member of the art community for many years," said Irene Greenhalgh, president of the Amityville Artist's Circle. "She was a very talented and well-loved artist. We'll definitely miss her." Fowler was a longtime parishioner of the First United Methodist Church in Amityville, active in the Amityville Historical Society and a member of the Amityville Senior Center where she loved to play bridge and knit.
