Sisters of Greater LI host annual fashion

The Sisters of Greater Long Island, an African- American breast cancer survivor's organization recently held a luncheon and fashion show at the Manor East in Massapequa. Luncheon committee chairperson was Colleen Phillips and Amityville resident Pamela Isabell was the Long Island Chairperson. She was assisted by Mary Brown.

The event drew a large crowd who enjoyed beautiful fashions modeled by many locals with great style. The luncheon committee included Betty Herzog, Sue Ifill, Ronice Bunn, Elisa Torres, Denise Coleman, Henrietta Smith and Ellen Holiday. Mistress of Ceremony was Madelyn Bayton. Keynote speaker was Alicia Knoght Debrady, M.D.
