The annual Amityville Memorial High School (AMHS) Homecoming celebration will take place on Sat., Oct. 18. The entire Amityville community and all Amityville Memorial High School alumni are invited to enjoy the Homecoming Parade beginning at 12:15 p.m. Participants will begin lining up at the railroad station at 11:30 a.m. The parade will travel through the village of Amityville and conclude at the high school.

AMHS will be alive with spirit during the week of Oct. 14. Each day will feature a theme designed to build on our school spirit. Themes will include: Twin Day, Mismatch Day, Superhero/Celebrity Day, and Red & Gray Day. Friday will feature a pep rally with recognition of the fall athletic teams and the band providing entertainment.

Principal Dr. Scott J. Andrews encourages the community to come out and support its students along the parade route and at the football game scheduled for 2 p.m. The Warriors will take on Greenport/Southold/ Mattituck/Shelter Island High School.
