Four generations of the Marcley family of Amityville gathered at the Villag beach for a reunion this summer. Henry and Jean Marcley raised nine children, and John Marcley raised eight children in Amityville. Some have remained local, while others have made homes throughout Long Island and around the country. All remember Amityville, however and enjoyed a day of reminiscing.

"When we all get back together, it is as though we never left the "friendly Village of Amityville," said Marcella (Marcley) Nostrand. "We are always happy to be reunited in the Village that brought us all so much fun and so many good memories. It is our hope to continue this tradition of the "Marcley Family Reunion" every two years."
