Mrs. Kelly began her career in education as a Social Studies teacher, and also served as an Assistant Principal during her tenure in Kings Park High School. The district's newly appointed Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Kathleen Gulbin, has served in the Scranton City School District, where she was a middle school principal and Director of Planning and Compliance for the district. Prior to joining the Amityville team, Dr. Gulbin was the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Sewanaka Public School District.
The district would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Fanning, Mrs. Kelly and Dr. Gulbin and wishes them the best for a successful school year.
