The Amityville Fire Department set up standby crews on Sat., Sept. 6, prepared for tropical Storm Hanna. The Department started the standby at noon, and crews were dismissed 10 that night. As is the tradition at St. William the children were greeted by Principal, Anna Guardino and Assistant Principal, Margaret Grimaldi as well as the entire faculty as they came off the buses to begin an exciting year.
