•Jessica Alagna, of Amityville, has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee. A 2002 graduate of Massapequa High School, she is majoring in writing communication at the college. She is the daughter of Janet Alagna of Amityville.

•Megan E. Hyland, of Amityville, received a bachelor's degree in economics on May 18 at the commencement of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, New York. She had studied abroad in Central Europe. She is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. James Hyland.
