An evening of entertainment, hosted by the Bay Village Civic Association (BVCA), was enjoyed by residents and friends on June 19. Bruce Jenney, wellknown musician and resident of Amityville, filled the air surrounding the Gazebo with "smooth jazz".
Store owners held their doors open and shoppers stopped and chatted while music filled the air. Park Avenue was closed to accommodate the audience and allow easy movement while the concert ensued.
Mayor Peter Imbert, Chief Don Dobby and newly elected Chamber of Commerce John DiLiberto were present to extend support. Geri Dempsey, chairperson of the event and Joan Donnison, president of the BVCA, welcomed all in attendance.
