Bay Village Civic Association hosts an evening of music
      An evening of entertainment, hosted by the Bay Village Civic Association (BVCA), was enjoyed by residents and friends on June 19. Bruce Jenney, wellknown musician and resident of Amityville, filled the air surrounding the Gazebo with "smooth jazz".

Amityvlle artist wins LI Museum competition
      The Long Island Museum in Stony Brook announced that Ivan Carrillo of Amityville is a finalist in the museum's juried art competition, Summer on Long Island. Carillo and other artists from across Long Island were invited to submit up to three works that best fit the theme, Summer on Long Island.
