S.C. PAL sponsors teen fun nights at Adventureland
Teen Fun Nights 2008 is a Friday night concert series which will be hosted by Party 105.3 FM and the Suffolk County Police Athletic League, and will feature some of the hottest acts from the recording industry. The concert series will run for nine more Friday nights, 6 to 10 p.m. The concerts will be broadcast live on Party 105.3 FM.
Performers who will be appearing this summer include Kat DeLuna, Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child and many more surprise guests. For a full schedule of weekly performances, log onto www.party105.com.
"We are proud to offer teens a fun-filled safe alternative to unhealthy activities this summer," said Party 105 Radio Network President John Caracciolo.
According to Lieutenant Bob Donohue, commanding officer of Suffolk County P.A.L., the Suffolk County Police Athletic League is one of the largest and most successful juvenile crime prevention and recreational programs in the country.
