Copiague's Great Neck Road Elementary School students participated in the Pennies for Patients campaign, raising approximately $559 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The collection was used to encourage students to donate their spare change and reinforce the school's character education program, specifically the caring and citizenship pillars.
