Members of the Amityville Teachers Association, School Board President Michele Sikrangkur, High School Assistant Principal Pete Hutchison and Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Williams attended the Mayor's Spring Social at the Hunter Squires Jackson Hall in Amityville. It was a proud moment for the Amityville Public School community when Dr. Williams was introduced as the new Superintendent of Schools. In addition to food and friends, many dona- tions were made, including a basket by the Amityville Teachers Association, all of which were raffled off.

Historically, the Mayor's Spring Social is a coming together of various community groups, and is an afternoon to catch up with old friends.
