Amityvillians welcome spring at annual social

Shown above are members of the Amityville Kiwanis Club who hosted the annual Mayor's Spring Social Sunday, March 2. The event was, once again, very well attended, and according to chairwoman Joann Mills, every segment of the community was represented. "It's always a wonderful way to get out and meet old friends and neighbors after a long winter," said Mills. "We appreciate everyone's support. Money raised from the event goes toward community projects including beautification and scholarship programs. Watch for additional photos next week.
