•Nicole Cutter, of Copiague, a student in the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester.

•Matthew Casserly, of Amityville, a sophomore French major in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester.

•Elliot J. Wolk, of Copiague, a senior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he is a computer science major, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester.

•Ryan W. Dobby, of Amityville, will be inducted into the Omicrron Sigma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Nassau Community College in March. Dobby, a theatre/music/dance major, is the son of Donald and Diane Dobby.

•Named to the dean's list at the University of Scranaton, Scranton, Pennsylvania are the following local residents: Lindsay A. Manno of Amity Harbor and Kristin L. Sapienza of Copiague.

•Thomas Stutman, of Amityville, a psychology major at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester.

•Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, Hicksville, has announced its "A" and "B" honor rolls for the second academic quarter of the 2007/ 2008 school year. To be named to the "A" honor roll a students needs a minimum weighted average of 90 percent and for the "B" honor roll, 85 percent is needed. Named to the "A" honor roll from our area: From Amityville are Caroline Gilmore, Alexandra Lasker, Lauren Priola and Ashley Stumpel; from Copiague are Adam Bates, Lauren Spanjich and Chanelle Williams and from Copiague Harbor is Anthony Giannini. Named to the "B" honor roll from Amityville are Rashad Cureton, Cassandra Dunn and Vincent LaManna and from Copiague are Anicely Arias, Tiyana Coleman and Michael Hartinger.

•Jessica Alagna, of Amityville, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester at Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee. Alagna, a 2002 graduate of Massapequa High School, is majoring in writing/communication. She is the daughter of Janet Alagna of Amityville.

•Meagan Rolla, of Amityville, was named to the dean's list at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut for the fall 2007 semester.

• Jessie Anne Roy, a senior in the College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware, was named ot the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester.

•Laura Vollmer, of Amity Harbor, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 in the School of Management at Binghamton University of the State University of New York.
