Veronica Wolfe, of Copiague, a freshman at the State University of New York at Cobleskill where she is a member of the Fighting Tiger swimming team.

On Jan. 24 she took part in the SUNY Cobleskill Invite and won the 50 Freestyle with a time of 30.33 seconds then came back to place third in the 100 Freestyle with a national qualifying effort of 1:09.31. Then on Jan. 29 at the SUNY Delhi Distance Invitational she placed third in the 100 Freestyle meeting the national qualifying standards in the event with a time of 1:12.23 and finishing third in the 50 Freestyle with a mark of 31.04 seconds.

Wolfe is a graduate of Copiague High School.
