Longtime Amityville resident and devoted parishioner at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, Milton John Fedel, known as John, died Jan. 26, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. He was known to generations of Amityville children as a local crossing guard who worked in the Village for 18 years. He was 85 years old. More...
