Van Flips
 | | On Nov. 23, at Rte. 110 and Jefferson Ave. N.A., an automobile crashed into the side of a handicapped van, flipping it over to the driver's side. Seven people were injured in the accident, which occurred in poor weather conditions. One person was trapped in the van and Amityville Fire Department volunteers used a cutting tool to extricate the victim and transfer him to a hospital for treatment.
