Free Ident-A-Kid program

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer, District Attorney Thomas Spota and the Police Athletic League have teamed up to offer the residents of Suffolk County the Ident-A-Kid Program.

The Ident-A-Kit is a child identification packets, which includes: emergency contact information, medical history, photograph, DNA sample, safety tips and thumbprints. It is contained in a clear plastic packet.

The free program is available Thursday evenings from 4 to 7 p.m. in the lobby of Suffolk County Police Headquarters, 30 Yaphank Ave., Yaphank.
