Babylon Tree Lighting to be held on Dec. 9

Supervisor Steven Bellone and Councilwoman Carol Quirk, chairwoman of the Parks Committee invites all Town of Babylon residents of the Town's Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Supervisor Bellone will parade on decorated floats provided by the North Lindenhurst Fire Department with Santa Claus to Town Hall. The Robert Moses Jr. high School Marching Band and Colorguard from North Babylon will lead the festivities. "I encourage all residents to get into the holiday spirit by attending this popular event." There will be giveaways for the children, costumed characters, hot chocolate and cookies for all. A live chorus will sing holiday songs.

The Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting will be held on Sunday Dec. 9, 4 p.m. All town residents are welcome.
