The Amityville Artists' Circle Gallery opens its door to its first craft classes for pre-teens on Saturday, Dec. 8. Hosted by Valerie Hester, retired art teacher, children between the ages of seven and ten years old will have the opportunity to make winter-theme projects using a variety of media. The first of the back-to-back classes runs from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and the second is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Each class is limited to the first 25 children, and no fee will be charged.

The Circle Gallery is located at 186 Broadway in Amityville next to Vittorio's Restaurant. For more information on the Amityville Artists' Circle and the Circle Gallery, visit www.amityvilleartistscircle.org.
