Amityville Village Mayor recovering after fall

Amityville Village Mayor Peter T. Imbert is recovering from a fall he took at his home at Avon Place last month. The Mayor was on a ladder doing some work on the house when he slipped and fell almost 11 feet. He broke several ribs.

"I am fine and am very grateful that it wasn't more serious," said Imbert, who added laughing that he has a ladder for sale.
