Police seek public's help in apprehending burglar

Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a burglary at an occupied apartment in Copiague Nov. 15.

The victim answered a knock at the door and was punched in the face by one suspect at 10:00 p.m. That suspect, along with three to four other people, entered the victim's apartment at 1950 Great Neck Road, and beat him with hard metal ob- jects. The suspects stole a cell phone and an Xbox Game System.

The victim was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information regarding this burglary should call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220- TIPS.
