Town of Babylon collecting for Toys for Tots

Councilwoman Ellen McVeety announced that the Town of Babylon will participate again this year in the annual U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. A collection box for the toys will be in the front lobby of Town Hall, 200 E. Sunrise Hwy., Lindenhurst, through Dec. 14. Councilwoman McVeety says anyone wishing to participate in the program may donate new, unwrapped toys, Mondays through Fridays, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The toys will be distributed to children at the holidays by Marine Corps personnel.
