Leon Fisher: Lifelong Amity Resident, Nissan Salesman
"He was the nicest guy with a permanent smile. He was very patient and everyone here loved him," said Michael Sealys, who was trained by and worked with Mr. Fisher for 14 years. He leaves behind his wife, Rosyln McConico; his children: Rodney Alan, Tyrne Benjamin and Gabrielle; his brother, Alan Fisher; his mother Mary (Jeannie); his grandchildren: Rason Diane and Kayla Lynee; his ex-wife Sharon Tempro; and a host of family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Benjamin. A Funeral Service was held on November 5, 2007 at Grace Community Church, Amityville officiated by the Rev. Robert L. Burgess. Interment followed in L.I National Cemetery at Pinelawn. Arrngements were under the direction of the Joseph Slinger-Haskell Funeral Home, Amityville.
