BACCA Art classes

The Babylon Arts Council (BACCA) has announced its Winter I Art classes of 2008. Classes will be taught for an eight-week session beginning November 19 and ending January 12 and are held in the Arts Council studios at the Babylon Town Hall Annex, 281 Phelps Ln., North Babylon.

The Winter I Art session includes classes in pastels, oils and acrylics, watercolors, still life, portraits II, oils and pastels and figure drawing. There will also be art classes for children such as drawing/painting and progressive art class. Classes are being taught by instructors Liz Macchio, Cielo Vazquez, Bill Christ, Elizabeth Greaf, Phyllis George and Ron Thomson.

The class fee is $80 for BACCA members and $100 for non-members. For more information, call the Arts Council office at 631-587-3696. Additional information can be found at www.babylonarts.com.
