A Deauville Gardens Day Made Better

On October 2, employees from the OfficeMax Levittown store surprised Deauville Gardens Elementary School fourth-grade teacher Sandy Natal with school supplies for the "A Day Made Better" program. Deauville Gardens Assistant Principal Julie McGahan nominated Natal for the OfficeMax and Adopt-AClassroom's program, which is in response to the fact that teachers spend much of their own money throughout the school year on classroom supplies.

"Ms. Natal is a wonderful asset to the Deauville Gardens faculty," stated Principal McGahan. "She is more than deserving of this wonderful grant."

Natal was one of 1,000 teachers nationwide to receive a variety of school supplies such as a new chair, digital camera, a cart, stickers, maps, and others, totaling more than $1,400.
