Dominican Village Fundraiser a huge success

On Friday, October 12th Dominican Village hosted its first annual Fall Into Fashion Show and Chinese Auction fundraiser. The event attracted more than 200 guests who enjoyed a full dinner and dessert buffet catered by Skalberg's of West Islip. The women's fashions were provided by Estelle's Dressy Dresses of Farmingdale and the men's apparel by Sal's Fashions of Massapequa. All seventeen models were residents, relatives or staff members of Dominican Village.

More than 100 items valued at $50 or more were raffled during the evening. Southwest Airlines, All Star Limousine Service of Farmingdale, KeySpan and Sister Eileen Stattel for contributed the golden prizes.

Dominican Village also held its holiday craft fair/flea market, Saturday, November 3.
