Rockets hang tough; the day's story was defense!

Spectacular defense, diving saves and quick ball returns by Ryan Onderdonk, Lance Novick and Joseph Crema kept the Rockets in the game against a formidable attacking Red Bulls team led by Kristian Rafsol.

On the offensive end, the team worked together well, led by Gabby DeVecchis and her usual relentless attack style. Michael Calabrese was a bull in the forward zone, continually moving the ball to the open attacker and following up on any shot that came near him. The kids were well rested coming off the Columbus Day bye and left it all out on the field, celebrating late into the afternoon before heading home to prepare for the tough week of kindergarten that lay ahead.
