Babylon Performing Arts to host Concert for Darfur

The Town of Babylon Department of Human Services in conjunction with The West Babylon School District, The Suffolk Center on the Holocaust, Diversity and Understanding and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. - Suffolk County Alumnae Chapter will present A Concert for Darfur, Saturday, October 27, 7 p.m. at the West Babylon Performing Arts Center, 500 Great East Neck Rd., West Babylon, at the corner of Route 109. The free concert will feature renowned artists such as Broadway singer Kandice Whitaker-Taylor, pianist of the Harlem Boys Choir Danijela Popovic, Martina Bruno who was featured in Carmen, self-trained song stylist David Vernon and The Venettes Cultural Workshop, Inc.

Voluntary donations will be accepted in support of International Medical Corp., a global humanitarian, non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs.
