David Annunziato: Home Improvement Company Owner

Former Amityville resident and home improvement businessman, David M. Annunziato, Sr., died September 7, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He was 63 years old.

Born September 15, 1943 in Staten Island to Henry and Dorothy (nee Zivelli), he served in the U.S. Marine Corp. For many years he was self-employed in home improvement and house painting. According to his son, David, he loved motorcycles and had raised German Shepherd dogs.

For more than 25 years he lived on Park Avenue with his family before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1992.

Mr. Annunziato leaves behind his ex-wife, Lynn in Amityville; his children: David M., Jr., Gina and Michael; his grandchildren: Maurice, Jasmine, Nicholas, Michael Jr., and Dominic; and his father, Henry. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy and his brothers, Henry (Sonny), Richard and Kenneth.

A prayer service was conducted September 14, 2007 at the Powell Funeral Home, Amityville. Rev. Father Richard T. Stetler, pastor, St. Martin's R.C. Church celebrated a Mass of Christian Burial assisted by the Consolation Ministry and members of the family. Interment followed in Amityville Cemetery.
