COPIAGUE MARCHING BAND PREPARES FOR NEW SEASON:
The award-winning Walter G. O'Connell Copiague High School Marching Band is at it again. The Band is shown in the midst of its annual Band Camp, preparing to make their mark in their first year as a National Class marching band. This year's musical selection comes from the Broadway musical Les Miserables.

The next 15 months for the band are guaranteed to be the most exciting in their history. In November of this year, the band will perform in the 25th Anniversary Parade for the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C. and in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade. In 2008, the band will march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Shown in the photo, members of the Walter G.
