Legislator Horsley Sponsers "Ident-a-Kid" Kit Program

Suffolk County District Attorney, Thomas J. Spota along with Suffolk County Legislator Wayne R. Horsley and the Suffolk County Police Athletic League are offering a free child safety program for children age 12 and under at the Lindenhurst Memorial Library on September 15 from 11 am. to 1 pm. The Ident-AKid Kit program is designed to assist parents and the Police in identifying children in an emergency. Each participant will be given an Ident-A-Kid Kit which will include: a photograph of the child, the child's fingerprint, a DNA Sample Kit and a pad in which to log Medical Emergency Information.

Registration for this free ongoing program begins Saturday, September 1, at the Lindenhurst Memorial Library. You may contact the Library at 631-957-7755.
