Good Samaritan Hospital to hold blood drive September 12 in the Guild Conference Center

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center is holding a blood drive, Wednesday, September 12, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Guild Conference Center, 1000 Montauk Hwy., West Islip. To donate blood, you must be at least 17 years old or 16 with a parent's permission, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and bring valid identification and social security number.

All donors qualify to receive a free scratch card, with the chance to win $5,000 credit toward a lease on a brand new Babylon Ford vehicle.

Mobile collection units will also be available, Tuesday, September 11, 15 Park Ave., Bay Shore, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday, September 25, Nursing Home, Sayville, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Thursday, September 27, Dialysis Center, Lindenhurst, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
