Fifth Annual Bluegrass Festival to be held August 18

The Fifth Annual Long Island Bluegrass Festival with Nashville Bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will be held Saturday, August 18, noon to 8 p.m. at Tanner Park, Copiague, rain or shine. The event will feature Buddy Merriam and Back Roads, Free Grass Union DuneGrass, music, food, vendors and children's activities. The cost is $10 and for children under 10, $5. The event is presented by the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA) and the Town of Babylon. For information, call 631-587-3696.
