St. Martin of Tours School, Amityville, gets a new principal

With the recent retirement of Sister Maureen Galvin as principal of the St. Martin of Tours School in Amityville, Kathleen A. Razzetti has been appointed her replacement. Mrs. Razzetti grew up in Massapequa Park and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.Church. At that time, they did not have their own church building. As a result, the parish used St. Martin of Tours Church. Mrs. Razzetti received her communion, confirmation and was married at St. Martins. Her new position makes her feel as if she is "coming home," she said.

She brings with her over 30 years of experience in the classroom and as an administrator. She has taught every grade level, and before accepting the position at St. Martin of Tours School, she was the principal of Glenwood Landing School, in the North Shore School District.
